The Floor Lead is an integral member of the store leadership team, responsible for overseeing the retail floor, delegating tasks, and being the go-to person for both customers and staff. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will assist with various leadership duties as they arise.
Create Unforgettable Customer Experiences
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure every customer enjoys the highest level of service.
- Take ownership of the sales floor and lead the sales team with a focus on prioritizing customer experience.
- Prepare fitting rooms, assist customers in finding sizes, and provide knowledgeable feedback about merchandise style and fit.
- Build lasting connections with customers by discussing product details, sharing information on new arrivals, and inviting them to upcoming events.
- Stay informed about current bestsellers and new products to share insights with customers and your team.
Drive Business Success
- Lead daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
- Encourage and motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals within a commission-based environment.
- Seek knowledge of the latest trends in fashion and activewear to serve as a product expert for customers.
- Guide the team in completing projects, always emphasizing the importance of customer experience.
- Communicate inventory needs to support the achievement of business goals.
Leadership and Ownership
- Work alongside the Retail Store Manager on daily operations, sales strategies, team development, and community engagement to ensure smooth business operations.
- Oversee daily store maintenance, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleanliness.
- Exercise utmost responsibility and attention to safety protocols during store opening and closing.
- Encourage team members to maintain punctuality and fulfill their responsibilities at all times.
