Job Purpose:
- Lead and execute innovative marketing initiatives for Retail Lubricants at forecourt locations, ensuring alignment with category plans.
- Address daily operational challenges in the Retail Lubricants sector, focusing on enhancing profitability for both Vivo Energy Burkina Faso (VEB) and its retail partners.
- Ensure operational excellence in the marketing and sales execution of lubricants at forecourt outlets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain brand relevance and ensure initiatives reinforce the brand's promises.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for existing and new lubricant products.
- Manage day-to-day marketing operations, including project management, creative development, and campaign tracking.
- Utilize business and marketing insights to create actionable plans that meet company objectives.
- Work with diverse functional teams to coordinate and execute tailored marketing plans for each product.
- Participate in strategic planning to identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Oversee the execution of marketing plans in collaboration with internal and external partners, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Engage in significant sales and marketing presentations when required.
Brand Management:
- Uphold brand integrity across all communication channels related to assigned products.
- Define and manage the Brand platform, including vision, value proposition, positioning, and communication style.
- Serve as the primary expert on brand matters within the organization and advocate for the brand across all stakeholders.
- Maintain and update brand guidelines, ensuring compliance from vendors and internal teams.
- Support brand health monitoring and assist in developing new tracking systems.
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):
- Lead the marketing lifecycle processes for designated brands.
- Prepare objectives and timelines for all phases of product marketing and solicitation.
