We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Marketing Specialist, an expert in retail execution who can adeptly manage extensive Point-of-Sale (POS) deployments across a spectrum of retail environments, including national chains and independent dealers. You have a proven track record in translating global brand initiatives into impactful local go-to-market (GTM) strategies, crafting engaging retail experiences that demystify complex technologies such as AI and advanced camera functionalities. As a strategic collaborator with distributors and business management teams, you harmonize operational precision with analytical acumen, leveraging customer insights to assess ROI and enhance the offline retail customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retail Execution: Oversee in-store retail POS deployments across leading consumer electronics retail chains, independent outlets, and distributors throughout India.
- Campaign Management: Initiate and oversee customer-centric retail campaigns and experiences aimed at boosting sales and enhancing brand visibility.
- Go-to-Market (GTM): Deploy GTM strategies for new product introductions and feature enhancements specifically tailored for offline retail.
- Education & Experience: Position channel experience and user education as foundational elements of the offline strategy; take charge of education metrics while scaling local tools in collaboration with global and regional partners.
- Strategy & Measurement: Formulate comprehensive methods to evaluate the success of retail initiatives through performance tracking and customer research.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for in-store marketing efforts, closely collaborating with Partner Business Management (PBM) teams and marketing stakeholders across India and APAC.
- Industry Expertise: Bring extensive knowledge of the Indian consumer electronics retail sector, particularly regarding POS deployments and distributor networks.
- Operational Excellence: Demonstrate a solid ability to manage large-scale retail rollouts and campaign executions within tight GTM timelines.
- Strategic Measurement: Utilize data and customer insights effectively to assess retail strategy and ROI.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Exhibit strong communication and leadership skills, adept at navigating complex stakeholder landscapes across local and regional teams.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience
- 8+ years of experience in retail marketing, particularly in the technology/OEM sector, with direct involvement in POS execution and channel marketing
