Join O'Reilly Automotive Stores as a Retail Service Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our Store Manager and Assistant Managers in driving sales, enhancing customer service, and ensuring the store operates smoothly. This dynamic position also includes assuming shift management responsibilities when the Assistant or Store Manager is unavailable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and inspire store team members to deliver outstanding customer service to both retail and professional customers.
Supervise customer service standards in the retail showroom, ensuring team members effectively execute service programs (such as Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
Answer incoming phone calls in accordance with company policies.
Oversee the timely processing of online orders, store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders, ensuring customers are notified upon shipment arrivals as necessary.
Manage special orders and outside purchases efficiently, utilizing the electronic purchase order ledger.
Facilitate retail customer returns and exchanges in a friendly manner, ensuring refunds are processed accurately and merchandise is handled correctly.
Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before products leave the store.
Ensure clear communication of Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks effectively.
Monitor team adherence to the posted work schedule, approving any changes through management and ensuring compliance with clock-in/out policies.
Execute all store opening and closing duties, including day-end procedures, securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring security measures are in place, and locking up the building.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Exceptional communication skills
Willingness to obtain RSS Certification
Preferred:
Experience in retail sales, particularly in the automotive parts sector
Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
ASE Certification
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is particularly desirable)
