About the job
As a Revenue Manager, your primary responsibility will be to maximize the hotel’s overall revenue across rooms, meetings and events, as well as food and beverage outlets. This will be achieved through the implementation of effective pricing, distribution strategies, and optimizing the customer mix.
You will surpass direct competitors by capturing market share through rational and competitive pricing, supported by targeted marketing strategies and diligent inventory management. Your goal is to maximize revenue and generate high net profits by adopting a Total Revenue Management approach that encompasses all revenue sources.
You will manage and oversee revenue management analysis functions to produce reports that support and evaluate the hotel's business strategies.
Additionally, you will provide guidance and support for sales and marketing initiatives to meet the hotel’s needs. Accurate revenue forecasts will help set hotel goals and outperform competitors. Your leadership qualities will guide hotel team members, including the responsive sales team.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and guiding the hotel in formulating inventory restrictions and pricing strategies for transient guests, groups, and events to increase market share and maximize revenue.
- Implementing the business strategy and pricing recommendations across all channels, revenue systems, and market segments.
- Analyzing the outcomes of deployed strategies and tactics monthly, ensuring communication with hotel teams, regional teams, and owner groups.
- Overseeing the implementation of Accor revenue management initiatives and maintaining brand standards.
- Managing relationships with OTA partners to ensure the hotel maximizes its revenue and marketing visibility with each.
- Leading the revenue forecasting process (11 days, monthly, annually) and preparing the annual budget, ensuring accuracy and consistency in forecasts.
- Collaborating closely with the Commercial & Marketing Director, Sales & Events team, and Reservations Manager to develop and implement pricing and inventory management strategies for group sales to optimize revenue and profitability in each segment.
- Developing a pricing strategy tailored to business and leisure segments, analyzing demand and competitors, and working account by account with teams to ensure implementation.
