About the job
About Applied Intuition
We are primarily an in-office organization, expecting employees to work from their Applied Intuition office five days a week. However, we value flexibility and encourage our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when necessary to accommodate family commitments.
About the Role
As a Robotic Autonomy Systems Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and integrating sophisticated autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems that encompass both hardware and software domains. Your responsibilities will include the integration of hardware and software onto vehicle platforms and deploying autonomy algorithms in both Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) environments. A strong foundation in computer networking, code integration, and a fervor for robotics integration is essential. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions for both defense and commercial clients, ensuring seamless hardware-software integration, effective troubleshooting, and engaging customer demonstrations.
At Applied Intuition, You Will:
- Develop and adapt modular and agile autonomy capabilities to tackle diverse defense challenges.
- Integrate and deploy autonomy solutions onto embedded Linux and other hardware platforms, interfacing with sensors and collecting data.
