Join Trupanion as a Sales and Customer Care Specialist, a key role within our organization. Your primary mission is to ensure that our members receive exceptional service when they reach out to us. We seek individuals who excel in sales and enjoy engaging with customers over the phone. You should be adept at managing intricate scenarios, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing solutions in real-time. In this position, you will foster genuine connections with our members and educate them on the invaluable lifetime benefits of protecting their pets with Trupanion.
We embrace a flexible work environment! This role is remote, available to candidates residing in Germany or Switzerland. A reliable and stable hardwired Ethernet internet connection is a must.
Our team meets quarterly for up to a week, with locations varying based on organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary contact for Trupanion customers and partners.
- Listen actively to pet owners’ needs and provide tailored recommendations for their insurance needs.
- Communicate effectively the advantages of our products, aiming to secure sales and activate policies.
- Handle sensitive situations with compassion, embodying the Trupanion ethos.
- Show enthusiasm for assisting members, ask insightful questions, and demonstrate problem-solving creativity.
- Build authentic connections and adjust your communication style to meet the needs of each member.
- Adapt to changes in responsibilities, processes, and workflows in a dynamic environment.
- Manage your time efficiently to deliver outstanding member service in a high-volume contact center.
- Utilize various systems to support our members and veterinarians.
- Contribute to process improvements and support the introduction of new services.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English, German, and French; knowledge of Flemish is a plus!
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing role.
- Swiss Non-Life Insurance Mediary License is preferred.
- Demonstrated phone sales experience.
- Experience with complex computer systems and a willingness to learn.
- Previous remote work experience is advantageous!
