Role Summary
As a Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our DIY business segment, contributing to our sales and service objectives. This entry-level position requires a foundational understanding of automotive systems and store operations. Candidates should be adept at sourcing from various supply channels and possess a solid grasp of inventory maintenance processes. This position may be offered as either part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service during DIY customer visits and phone inquiries.
- Meet personal sales targets and assist the store in achieving overall sales goals.
- Perform DIY services such as battery installations, testing, and wiper replacements.
- Uphold store standards for product quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage inventory tasks including truck deliveries, cycle counts, and back stock organization.
Additional Duties
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the store, including floors, restrooms, and external areas.
- Assist with general stocking and inventory tasks.
- Safely deliver parts to customers as required.
Success Factors
- Basic driving and navigation skills.
- Competence in using delivery management systems.
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities.
- Capability to locate and stock automotive parts efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and inventory systems.
- Proficiency with POS systems and parts lookup tools.

- Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations.
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Experience
- 2-3 years of proven sales experience in a diverse retail setting, focused on providing outstanding customer service.
