About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Sales Associate to join our team at H&M Schelle. This position offers a flexible schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week, which can increase to 35 hours per week based on store needs and your availability. Ideal candidates should be open to flexible working hours, including weekends, public holidays, and peak periods, with a commitment to a long-term career in a dynamic retail environment.
A Day in the Life
As a Sales Associate, your primary responsibility will be delivering exceptional customer service: greeting customers, providing advice, and guiding them with your knowledge of fashion and products. You will maintain a tidy store by restocking merchandise and ensuring appealing product displays. Working alongside your team, you will contribute to an optimal customer experience.
At H&M, no two days are alike, but a typical day includes:
- Customer Sales and Profit:
- Delivering excellent customer service: welcoming customers and assisting them in navigating the store & OMNI experience once available, providing direct customer support.
- Engaging with customers to familiarize them with our fashion trends, stories & products throughout the store, ensuring top-notch service.
- Actively promoting our customer loyalty app (Hello Member) & our sustainability initiatives in-store.
- Supporting the management team in executing commercial or operational actions to achieve sales goals.
- Positively representing yourself and the H&M brand in all customer interactions.
Fashion and Trend Awareness:
- Staying updated on fashion trends, styles, brands, and competitors, as well as relevant influencers.
- Utilizing your product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers.
Team & Development:
- Sharing and preserving your service, fashion, and store operations knowledge with colleagues.
- Providing and receiving feedback with your team to foster learning, development, and support.
- Participating in available training sessions including onboarding, introductory processes, and relevant courses for your role and future development.
Retail Operations/Visual & Commercial Execution:
- Completing the full clothing cycle from unpacking to restocking and ensuring proper clothing care and stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.
- Operating fitting rooms and registers according to H&M standards.
