Join the NBCUniversal Local Sales Associates Program, a premier development initiative designed for emerging sales talent in the fast-evolving digital media landscape. This highly selective program seeks exceptional early-career sales professionals who bring diverse perspectives and backgrounds. As an associate, you will engage in a dynamic training experience that encompasses every facet of the sales cycle—from research to operations—across various sales verticals including traditional broadcast media, digital platforms, business development, and out-of-home advertising, as well as Peacock, our ad-supported streaming service.
During the initial 'boot camp' phase at one of our NBCUniversal Local stations, you will be introduced to the NBCUniversal/NBCUniversal Local division, engage with senior leadership, and receive training on our products and processes, including high-profile events such as the NFL, NBA, FIFA World Cup, Barclays Premier League, and The Golden Globes©. This immersive experience will arm you with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in media sales.
Post-boot camp, you will integrate into a sales team at an NBCUniversal Local station for 8-12 months, gaining hands-on experience in core selling, business development, and digital sales. This program also emphasizes leadership development, networking opportunities, and honing crucial sales competencies. Many former sales associates have successfully advanced to executive sales roles within NBCUniversal, making this an exceptional opportunity for your career trajectory. Geographic mobility is required, as opportunities are available in multiple states.
