Participants will gain invaluable insights into every facet of the sales cycle, encompassing research, operations, and various sales verticals such as traditional broadcast media, digital platforms, business development, and out-of-home advertising, including Peacock.
Kick off your journey with an immersive ‘boot camp’ experience at one of our NBCUniversal Local stations. This program will not only introduce you to the NBCUniversal/NBCUniversal Local division but also provide direct interaction with senior leadership and sales teams. You will receive comprehensive training in our products and processes, covering major sports events and digital initiatives.
Following the boot camp, you will join a sales team at an NBCUniversal Local station for the program's duration, which spans 8-12 months. During this time, you will acquire essential skills in core selling, business development, and digital sales. This program also emphasizes leadership development, networking opportunities, and honing key sales competencies, setting the stage for career advancement. Many former Sales Associates have successfully transitioned into Executive Sales roles within NBCUniversal, illustrating the program's effectiveness.
