We are on the lookout for a passionate and motivated Sales Development Manager eager to advance their career while contributing their creativity and energy to our team. Your main responsibility will be to cultivate and lead a top-tier sales development team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring accountability among team members regarding their objectives.
As part of our growing Marketing team, you will play a crucial role in scaling demand generation by prospecting new corporate and mid-market accounts. Your expertise will help tailor 8x8’s solutions to meet each prospect's unique needs while delivering highly qualified leads to our Sales organization. You will also be responsible for training and coaching our self-motivated sales development representatives, as well as recruiting new talent and maintaining a robust talent pipeline.
In this leadership position, you will guide our inbound and outbound sales representatives to achieve their individual and team goals, enhance their sales skills, and support their professional development. Collaboration with management across Marketing, Sales, and Sales Operations will be key to your success. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, an effective motivator, and possess a strong focus on operational efficiency and execution.
Your team will identify new opportunities for 8x8, utilizing resources such as incoming leads, existing contacts, third-party tools like LinkedIn, and targeted account lists. Currently managing three distinct groups—the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Inbound Call Screeners, and Lead Development Representatives (LDRs)—you will ensure optimal performance and potential growth.
