Role Overview:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is pivotal in driving revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers for our products and services. As the initial contact in the sales cycle, the SDR is tasked with building a robust and consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities that empower our sales team to excel.
This role is performance-driven and focuses on generating leads through proactive outreach and qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Qualification:
- Formulate effective sales strategies to attract potential buyers and solicit new customers.
- Conduct outbound calls to SME owners and decision-makers from targeted prospect lists.
- Evaluate prospects’ interest, eligibility, and readiness for FlapKap’s financing solutions.
Appointment Setting:
- Arrange and confirm high-quality, pre-qualified meetings between interested SMEs and FlapKap’s Account Executives or Commercial Team.
Pipeline Management:
- Accurately log and maintain comprehensive records of all outbound calls, discussions, and outcomes in the CRM system.
- Ensure a transparent, structured, and reliable sales pipeline.
Product & Market Understanding:
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of FlapKap’s financing products, SME use cases, and eligibility criteria.
- Engage prospects in knowledgeable, confident discussions while managing expectations accurately.
Performance Management:
- Regularly meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for outbound activities, qualified leads, and scheduled meetings.
