As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Hustler Marketing, you will play a vital role in driving our growth by generating and qualifying outbound sales leads. This position involves initiating personalized outreach to prospective clients, thereby establishing a robust sales pipeline.
Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough research on potential clients, crafting tailored outreach messages, and scheduling discovery meetings with qualified prospects. This role focuses solely on proactive outbound activities—unlike a Business Development Representative (BDR)—and does not rely on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
You will report directly to the Sales Department Lead and will collaborate closely with both the Sales and Service Departments to ensure a seamless transition from prospecting to closing deals.

Mission statement: The primary mission of our Sales Development Representative is to consistently generate high-quality discovery meetings through strategic outbound prospecting, effective communication, and high-level personalization.
Key tasks include researching potential clients, initiating meaningful conversations, qualifying leads, and ultimately contributing to the company’s revenue growth through successful booking of discovery calls.
General Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on potential clients, focusing on their brand, positioning, and service alignment.
- Build targeted prospect lists using tools such as Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Craft personalized outreach messages via LinkedIn and email (no automation).
- Develop engaging sales copy that emphasizes clarity and conversion.
- Initiate and manage outbound conversations with potential clients.
- Qualify prospects based on established criteria prior to scheduling discovery meetings.
- Book and coordinate discovery meetings for the Sales Team.
- Lead initial discovery conversations as necessary (training provided).
- Update and maintain CRM records in HubSpot for accurate tracking of outreach efforts.
- Manage outreach sequences within HubSpot while ensuring a strong focus on personalization.
- Continuously refine outreach messaging to enhance reply and booking rates.
- Monitor outreach KPIs and report performance metrics regularly.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments in digital marketing and e-commerce.
- Collaborate effectively with the Sales and Service Departments.
