As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Stripe, you will play a pivotal role in engaging prospective clients and connecting them with our innovative payment solutions. Collaborating closely with our Marketing and Sales teams, you will help build a robust and predictable sales pipeline. Our SDR program is designed to cultivate high-performing talent, setting you up for success in your sales career at Stripe.
Your Responsibilities
In your initial months, you will be part of our Sales Development Associate program, tailored to accelerate your onboarding experience and ease your transition into a corporate environment. This program includes the Sales Development Academy, which equips you with essential skills through virtual sessions, hands-on practicums, and assessments, ensuring you become a proficient SDR. You will be paired with an experienced SDR mentor who, alongside your manager, will provide guidance and support.
Within weeks of joining Stripe, you will start reaching out to potential customers, presenting our diverse product offerings that align with their business needs, and collaborating with senior sales representatives to close deals. Our data-driven approach underscores the importance of successful outreach in achieving SDR success.
While your onboarding experience lasts a few weeks, the Academy offers ongoing training throughout your first year, preparing top performers for advancement to roles such as Account Executive.
