Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance customer service by ensuring all associates are actively engaging with customers, addressing inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Oversee fundamental operational activities such as cash handling, price adjustments, merchandise management, and opening and closing procedures; verify the accuracy of time sheets and payroll documentation.
- Monitor and encourage associate sales performance; provide feedback and motivation to help team members reach their sales goals.
- Stay vigilant regarding customer presence to elevate service levels and mitigate security risks; maintain up-to-date knowledge of operational policies related to payments, exchanges, and security measures.
- Keep informed about current sales and promotions, ensuring that merchandise is displayed in alignment with promotional strategies.
- Assist in the receipt and dispatch of inventory and supplies, adhering to company policies.
- Supervise associates involved in sales, inventory receipt, cash reconciliation, and customer services; prepare weekly schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
- Demonstrate sales expectations through effective techniques and product knowledge; assist customers in selecting merchandise that meets their needs.
- Develop and nurture a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
- Uphold standards for merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other management directives.
- Participate in visual merchandising directives including monthly store setups and inventory replenishment.
- Contribute to the development of store associates by interpreting performance metrics and providing necessary coaching; offer feedback to the Store Manager for performance evaluations.
