Join our dynamic sales team as a Sales Learning & Development Specialist at getwingapp. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the design, implementation, and refinement of training initiatives aimed at elevating the performance of our sales representatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in crafting tailored training programs, developing engaging educational content, and deploying long-term skill enhancement strategies that drive higher close rates and boost overall revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Training Programs:
- Design and execute adaptable sales training programs that cater to various stages of the sales process and the experience levels of team members (onboarding, ramp-up, continuous learning).
Customize Curriculum and Modules:
- Create role-specific learning paths utilizing diverse formats (e.g., live workshops, e-learning, shadowing, and simulations) tailored to team requirements, market trends, and performance metrics.
Upskill Sales Team:
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops focused on critical sales competencies such as discovery techniques, objection handling, negotiation tactics, product knowledge, and closing strategies.
Track Learning & Skills Adoption:
- Establish systems to evaluate training engagement, knowledge retention, and the long-term integration of skills into daily practices. Monitor key performance indicators such as ramp time, conversion rates, and improvements in close rates.
Collaborate with Sales Leadership & Enablement:
- Work alongside sales managers, sales enablement, and RevOps to identify skills gaps, prioritize learning objectives, and assess the impact of training programs.
Maintain Sales Content & Resources:
- Ensure that learning materials, sales playbooks, conversation guides, and knowledge bases are current and aligned with corporate goals and messaging.
Foster a Learning Culture:
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development by facilitating peer learning opportunities, coaching programs, and self-directed learning initiatives.
