Your ongoing development in brand and industry knowledge will be supported through active participation in both internal initiatives and external industry events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Expand sales and rejuvenate lapsed customer accounts.
- Drive revenue from new clients and those who have not exhibited in recent years, through sales of booths, sponsorships, advertisements, and integrated packages.
- Oversee overseas sales offices and agents to meet assigned targets.
- Convey key customer feedback and market trends to inform event and marketing strategies.
- Assist the Event Director in planning revenue for both virtual and physical exhibitions.
- Generate new business leads through customer relationship building, cold calling, and market research.
- Enhance existing customer relationships by demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of their business strategies and needs.
- Create sales strategies to increase customer account share through cross-selling and up-selling initiatives.
- Collaborate with Exhibitor Marketing teams to develop effective retention campaigns.
- Execute assigned sales campaigns, meeting goals for accounts, products, and revenue.
- Enhance brand and industry knowledge to improve sales performance.
- Support on-site re-booking of existing customer accounts.
- Communicate customer pipeline and booked information to leadership utilizing Salesforce.
- Maintain accurate customer information and notes within Salesforce.
- Facilitate the transition of sales information and customer requirements to the Event Operations and Event teams.
- Collaborate with Finance to resolve issues with bad debt customers.
- Mentor Account Executives by sharing industry knowledge.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
PERFORMANCE METRICS:
- Achieve revenue targets through effective account management and new business development.
