Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Manage daily relationships with Natural Channel headquarters and oversee broker network performance.Drive new item distribution by creating compelling selling decks, presenting assortments at the headquarters level, securing promotional opportunities, and facilitating effective shelf placement and planogram execution.Identify and act on growth opportunities within existing accounts and explore new doorways or categories.Execution and In-Store Support:Coordinate with distributor partners (KeHE, UNFI) to ensure precise ordering, inventory management, and promotional execution.Monitor in-stock performance and proactively address out-of-stock situations and distribution gaps.Plan and implement new item launches, seasonal promotions, and resets across the account portfolio.Conduct regular market visits, including ride-alongs with broker partners, to ensure excellent in-store execution and uncover opportunities.Planning, Reporting, and Cross-Functional Collaboration:Develop and manage account-level plans, including promotional calendars, distribution targets, and volume forecasts.Maintain precise and timely reporting on account performance, distribution progress, and market insights.Work closely with the Director of Sales, Natural Channel on strategic initiatives, priorities, and escalations.Collaborate with internal teams to support account needs and drive business objectives.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing our natural channel retail accounts, ensuring optimal distribution, velocity, and partnerships with a diverse range of natural and specialty retailers like INFRA, NCG, Lund's & Byerly's, Gelson's, Erewhon, Nugget, and Earth Fare. Additionally, you will support our overarching Natural Channel strategy, which includes collaboration with Whole Foods and Sprouts.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, relationship-focused professional, adept at juggling multiple retail partnerships, collaborating across teams to meet account needs, and delivering results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
