Are you a strategic commercial leader with in-depth knowledge of the Amsterdam hotel market? Someone who effortlessly combines strong relationships with sharp commercial insight, capable of closing deals independently while guiding a team? Leveraging your market knowledge and analytical skills, you will develop sales and marketing plans and lead the commercial team to achieve collective success. If this sounds like you, we want you as the leader of our commercial team!
Your Role
As the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be ultimately responsible for the commercial performance of INK Hotel Amsterdam – MGallery Collection in the Sales & Marketing domains. You thrive on developing commercial strategies, identifying new opportunities, and forging valuable partnerships. Bursting with innovative ideas, you will collaborate with teams to achieve success. Hospitality is in your DNA, and you possess profound knowledge of the Amsterdam market, complemented by insights into international trends affecting the hotel industry in the Netherlands.
You will work proactively and independently to identify, contract, and nurture (business) relationships, effortlessly navigating between corporate accounts, event agencies, press relations, influencers, and strategic partners.
You will represent INK Hotel Amsterdam at local networking events, (inter)national fairs, and organize events to engage clients with the hotel. This role is far from a full-time desk job; you feel at home at fairs and networking events, using your creativity for tailored sales blitzes.
Furthermore, you will oversee internal and external communication, PR, social media, brand management, and the organization of related events. Together with the General Manager and the Cluster Revenue Manager, you will establish a unique commercial strategy for our hotel.
Leadership in the Team
As an experienced professional, you will be the enthusiastic leader of our commercial team. You combine strong organizational skills with leadership qualities to elevate the department to new heights. You will ensure optimal collaboration between Sales, Marketing, and the Group Reservations department, in partnership with the Front-Office & Reservations manager.
You are a coaching leader who fosters structure, encourages ownership, and guides the team toward commercial objectives. You will lead a compact team consisting of:
A Marketing Executive;
A Sales Executive;
A Commercial intern during internship periods.
