We are looking for a proactive and organized Sales Representative to join our team, reporting directly to the Managing Director/Head of Sales for Panama, Colombia, Central America, and the Caribbean. This role is crucial for the seamless operation of our sales department, and we seek an individual who is detail-oriented, adept at problem-solving, and capable of making informed decisions.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in formwork and scaffolding, complemented by excellent teamwork and communication skills. The ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential. Candidates must reside in Panama City and be willing to travel as required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Sales Planning
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies through market intelligence and competitor analysis.
- Formulate and implement an annual sales plan that aligns with the Central America strategy, focusing on revenue and market growth.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within assigned sectors.
- Engage actively in sales meetings, offering updates on forecasts and potential risks.
2. Market Development & Customer Management
- Implement market development initiatives in alignment with our marketing strategy.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the construction sector.
- Manage key accounts with structured plans to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Continuously seek new customers and projects, maintaining regular communication through our CRM system.
- Act as the primary commercial contact for customers, ensuring effective negotiation participation.
3. Offer Management & Value-Based Selling
- Define project scopes in collaboration with Engineering and Operations teams.
- Prepare and deliver precise technical and commercial proposals.
- Utilize value-based pricing principles to emphasize the advantages of our solutions.
- Ensure compliance with sales policies and contractual obligations.
- Monitor competitor activities and conduct regular market assessments.
