As a Scheduler, you will play a crucial role within the Sizewell C project, reporting directly to the Programme Scheduler. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing the PMO functionality by providing comprehensive Schedule and Planning Management support to the Sizewell C PMO and Programme teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the establishment and upkeep of the Schedule Management function, including relevant policies, strategies, plans, and processes.
- Develop, manage, and maintain the Integrated Work Schedule for the successful delivery of the Sizewell C Project.
- Ensure compliance with the project’s scheduling standards.
- Monitor delivery performance and identify potential concerns for the Delivery Teams.
- Assist the Delivery Teams in producing monthly reports by supplying insightful information and analysis.
- Analyze and synthesize Supply Chain schedules.
Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Implementing the SZC Schedule Management Policy, Strategy, and Plan, while promoting adherence to Schedule Management Processes among the Delivery Teams.
- Assisting the Schedule Lead in developing and supporting an effective Schedule function within the PMO and Project Delivery Organisation.
- Ensuring Suppliers and Internal Departments align with SZC processes and procedures.
- Collaborating with Functional Heads to maintain the SZC scheduling approach.
- Participating in various forums to support the SZC's objectives across departments and projects.
- Contributing to the development and management of a Risk Model.
- Organizing and facilitating workshops aimed at enhancing scheduling areas.
In addition, you will coordinate schedule workshops and reviews with project stakeholders, liaise with Project Managers to manage the Integrated Schedule, and produce periodic schedule reports for Senior Leadership. You will also ensure effective management of Supply Chain schedules, escalate any issues requiring senior management intervention, and foster a culture of Schedule Management across the Project.
