Crane Beach, welcoming over 350,000 visitors each year, exemplifies a balanced approach to preserving diverse ecosystems while facilitating public recreation. Spanning over 1,200 acres, this remarkable beach offers a unique seaside experience that has created cherished memories for generations. As a vital member of the seasonal public safety team, you will ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors at Crane Beach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the sole EMT at the First Aid Station, providing medical care to walk-in patients and responding to emergencies.
- Coordinate rescue efforts with lifeguards and park rangers, and liaise with external emergency services.
- Oversee the First Aid Office, manage supplies, and handle radio communications for summer staff.
- Conduct equipment checks at the start of each shift, ensuring readiness of all medical supplies.
