The Northern regions play a vital role in Norway's security and preparedness framework, with Bodø at the forefront of this development. The area is experiencing growth, particularly in defense, emergency response, and critical societal infrastructure. We have successfully established teams of security advisors in our Western (Bergen), Northwestern (Møre and Romsdal), and Central (Trondheim) regions. We are now looking for candidates to form a dedicated team for security advising in our Northern region (Bodø), including one individual who will take on the responsibility for leading and further developing the local team.

As a security advisor at one of AFRY's regional offices, you will contribute to significant national projects and support growth in regional sectors such as defense industry, maritime sector, aquaculture, and more.

As a security advisor in Bodø, you will assist clients in both national and regional assignments, working on issues related to preventive security, preparedness, and critical societal functions. You will have a genuine impact on how security work is planned, developed, and translated into practical measures.
This role offers a wide variety of tasks and is well-suited for those who enjoy combining professional analysis, practical understanding, and advisory work.
Examples of tasks include:
- Advising on security, protection, and preparedness in complex projects
- Conducting risk and threat assessments
- Contributing to assignments related to critical infrastructure and societal functions
- Further developing preparedness and security measures for clients
- Supporting the evaluation, application, and compliance with laws, standards, directives, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with clients, public entities, and interdisciplinary project teams
- Contributing to professional development, knowledge sharing, and internal capacity building
