As the Security Manager for the pre-opening team at Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the well-being of guests, team members, and hotel property while fostering a professional and inviting atmosphere. You will spearhead the strategic planning, execution, and ongoing management of security operations, collaborating closely with the hotel leadership team to ensure alignment with brand standards, legal obligations, and operational necessities.
This role is crucial during the pre-opening phase, where you will implement security systems, establish procedures, and prepare the team for a seamless launch and continued operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, execute, and uphold comprehensive security policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that adhere to Minor Hotels standards and local regulations.
Lead, mentor, and manage the Security team to guarantee optimal coverage, performance, and professionalism at all times.
Supervise daily security operations, including access control, patrols, CCTV surveillance, key management, and incident documentation.
Conduct regular security risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement preventive strategies.
Administer emergency preparedness and response initiatives, covering fire safety, evacuation protocols, and crisis management.
Investigate and document security incidents, accidents, and losses, ensuring precise reporting and timely follow-up actions.
Coordinate with local authorities, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders as necessary.
Collaborate with Engineering, Housekeeping, Front Office, and Human Resources to ensure a secure environment for both staff and guests.
Encourage a robust culture of safety and security awareness throughout all departments via training and communication.
Support pre-opening initiatives, including recruitment, training, system implementation, and operational readiness.
