Role Overview: As a Security Officer, you will serve as the public face of our Security Team, embodying a proactive and professional demeanor. Your primary responsibility is to uphold the highest standards of security and customer service for all clients and visitors at the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer-focused service.
- Conduct regular patrols of the shopping center as per site assignment instructions, maintaining a proactive approach.
- Seek opportunities to assist visitors and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
- Manage all incidents in accordance with site policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the control room to react to incidents and keep your colleagues informed and supported.
- Promptly report any unsecured areas to the control room and take action to resolve issues.
- Document all emergencies and non-conformances accurately.
- Respond efficiently to emergencies, keeping the center team updated.
- Monitor behavior, surveillance of individuals, and report incidents as per site policies.
- Maintain vigilance against unauthorized access by banned individuals.
- Adhere to radio communication protocols at all times.
- Record all events and incidents in the Security Officer notebook, following all policies.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager to support business needs.
- Be available to cover an additional shift per month if needed.
- Work closely with the Environmental Services team to promote a unified service.
