Join our team as a Security Officer at Warwick Rittenhouse Square, a distinguished Marriott Bonvoy hotel. As a vital member of our staff, you will ensure the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property, while fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence will provide guests with peace of mind and a sense of well-being.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage with guests and employees in a warm, service-oriented manner.
- Adhere to Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions' attendance standards, with schedules varying based on hotel needs.
- Uphold high standards of appearance by wearing the designated uniform and name tag as per brand guidelines.
- Comply with all safety and operational standards to promote efficient hotel operations.
- Answer phone calls and dispatch messages promptly, demonstrating proper two-way radio etiquette while maintaining communication with the Front Desk/Night Auditor.
- Remain visible in the Lobby area to maintain contact with the Front Desk/Night Auditor when not conducting property walks.
- Document daily activities in an activity log.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guest and associate incidents.
- Authorize access to secured areas and verify visitor identification as necessary.
- Stay informed about local and state legal regulations relevant to the position.
- Assist guests with room access or escort them as needed.
- Investigate incidents such as thefts or assaults involving guests and collaborate with hotel management to complete incident reports.
- Support external agencies as required.
- Provide assistance to intoxicated guests.
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel locking systems.
- Respond to security alarms and monitor CCTV (if applicable).
- Proactively challenge suspicious individuals and conduct rounds to identify safety hazards.
- Work alongside hotel leadership to complete incident reports clearly and accurately.
- Receive and deliver items to guest rooms as requested.
- Manage lost and found items according to established procedures.
- Participate in special functions and meetings as required.
