JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in the financial operations of our organization, overseeing the intricate tasks associated with maintaining general ledger accounts and crafting detailed financial statements and reports. This role involves executing diverse and specialized assignments where thorough analysis and evaluation of various factors are essential. The Senior Accountant utilizes sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques to achieve outcomes within established practices and policies. This position may also guide junior staff and establish procedures for new tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes as assigned.
- Designing and maintaining internal controls and financial reporting systems.
- Preparing and reviewing account reconciliations, cost reports, billings, bank reconciliations, and various other financial reports.
- Providing necessary information for audits and management, including preparing audit schedules.
- Recommending and implementing corrective procedures for operational compliance with internal policies.
- Reviewing and preparing regulatory reports to ensure compliance with guidelines.
- Overseeing financial transaction entries and ensuring their accuracy.
- Maintaining and updating general ledger accounts as required.
