Join our team as a Senior Accountant, where you'll play a critical role in enhancing our financial performance across multiple entities. This position is hands-on and commercially focused, tasked with delivering precise financial reports, ensuring balance sheet integrity, and providing valuable insights that support informed decision-making for both executives and operations.
- Generate accurate and timely monthly management accounts, accompanied by detailed variance analysis and performance commentary.
- Oversee key balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Assist in preparing Board and Executive reporting packs, complete with clear financial analysis and insights.
- Support the creation of annual statutory financial statements while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Engage in budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting with thorough analysis and commercial insight.
- Facilitate month-end and year-end closing processes according to reporting timelines.
- Provide support for transactional finance functions (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and reconciliations) by applying appropriate controls.
- Assist during audit processes and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
- Implement robust financial controls and governance across the organization.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to convert financial results into actionable insights.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our finance systems, processes, and reporting frameworks.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
