Your Role
We are on the lookout for a dynamic AIT Spacecraft AOCS Engineer who will take charge of the integration and verification processes for our satellite's Attitude and Orbit Control System (AOCS). In this multifaceted role, you will collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to ensure that the AOCS is engineered for manufacturability, testability, and reliability during assembly and system validation. You will formulate integration and testing strategies for AOCS components, including reaction wheels, star trackers, gyros, magnetorquers, GNSS modules, and associated software, ensuring designs can be efficiently realized and verified.
You will support projects from initial design phases through to final testing, actively participating in key reviews and ensuring that integration plans, tools, procedures, and documentation are comprehensive. On the production floor, you will spearhead AOCS system testing, troubleshooting, and supporting anomaly resolution and root cause analysis as necessary. This hands-on role demands deep technical expertise and strong collaborative skills to guarantee ICEYE's AOCS operates reliably in orbit and scales effectively with production.
