Key Responsibilities:

- Client Management:
- Lead strategic consultation and planning for client benefit programs, both short- and long-term.
- Ensure compliance of programs and plan designs with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Leverage advanced actuarial and underwriting expertise to analyze claims data, providing insightful explanations to clients and internal teams.
- Oversee project management, claims escalation, and plan analysis/reporting for service teams.
- Carrier and Vendor Relationships:
- Forge strong relationships with carriers and vendors, spearheading negotiations during client coverage placements and renewals.
- Exhibit deep knowledge of current and emerging markets, delivering tailored solutions that align with client objectives.
- Production Partnership:
- Collaborate with production staff to co-lead finalist and prospect meetings.
- Prepare and submit technical responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Ensure accurate and proper execution of compensation received.
- Internal Resource:
- Act as a subject matter expert in various benefits strategy concepts, supporting other agency benefits staff.
- Identify and lead special projects that add value and participate in committees as needed.
- People Management:
- Manage the work and projects of assigned associates, providing clear communication of expectations and regular updates.
- Participate in the hiring process for direct reports and additional department hires.
- Serve as a mentor and coach for account executives.
- Provide constructive feedback to service team members to ensure client expectations are met.
