Your Role
Italy represents a vital market for Mollie’s mission. As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth in the Italian market. Your focus will be on identifying and engaging high-potential businesses, helping us to streamline financial processes for merchants throughout the region.
You will be part of an ambitious and expanding team, collaborating closely with other BDRs and BDMs to cultivate a strong, high-quality sales pipeline. This position is ideal for a driven individual who wants to take ownership of their territory, influence business strategies, and witness the tangible impact of their contributions on our growth metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, developing our pipeline in the Italian market and achieving revenue targets:
Implement impactful outbound prospecting campaigns utilizing a multi-channel approach (phone, email, social selling) to identify and engage potential high-value clients.
Conduct thorough discovery calls to understand client challenges, qualify opportunities, and showcase the value of Mollie’s solutions.
Lead commercial negotiations from proposal through to contract signing, successfully converting qualified prospects into Mollie clients.
Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Onboarding teams to refine strategies and ensure long-term customer success.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
2 to 4 years of experience in full-cycle outbound sales within the Italian market, preferably in the fintech sector.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
