WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Engineer embedded electronics from initial concept through to functional prototype, encompassing hardware selection, schematic and PCB design, board bring-up, and system-level integration.
- Diagnose and resolve challenges that bridge electrical and software domains, utilizing both laboratory instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs) and basic software debugging tools.
- Collaborate with contemporary SoCs and networking hardware to develop Anduril platforms.
- Engage closely with firmware and software engineers for processor and peripheral selection, board bring-up, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams, including electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers, to deliver fully operational products.
- Thrive in a fast-paced setting, supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer-operated hardware.
- Simultaneously manage participation in multiple projects across varying stages of completion.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Over 10 years of experience in the design, testing, and troubleshooting of complex hardware, embedded systems, and products.
- Proven expertise with multi-gigabit SERDES, DDR memory buses, Ethernet MAC and PHY interfaces, FPGAs, and standard communication buses such as SPI and I2C.
- Experience in selecting, configuring, and interfacing microprocessors and microcontrollers.
- Proficient in component selection, schematic capture, high-speed board design, and guiding PCB layout.
- Skilled with testing equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current probes, and test automation.
- Familiarity with product development processes and relevant tools.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with an emphasis on innovation and rapid deployment.
