AECOM is on the lookout for a Senior Civil Engineer to spearhead the delivery of advanced civil engineering designs and technical documentation for various data centre projects. These projects encompass site due diligence assessments, master planning, detailed design, and construction support. Your contributions will not only ensure successful project delivery but also bolster AECOM’s civil engineering prowess within the burgeoning data centre sector.
As part of our Civil Engineering Business Unit, you will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals including ground engineers, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, architects, project managers, environmental specialists, and surveyors both in the UK and internationally, all dedicated to our data centre initiatives.
In the Data Centres Market Sector, your civil engineering expertise will play a vital role in supporting major technology clients, while you work closely with multidisciplinary teams across the globe, enhancing AECOM’s reputation in the Hyperscale and Co-location data centre markets.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Providing civil engineering support for data centre projects, ensuring adherence to AECOM standards and regulatory requirements.
- Delivering and reviewing civil infrastructure designs and specifications, creating feasible solutions for site development, earthworks, drainage, pavements, access, utility infrastructure, and civil works associated with data centres.
- Coordinating and collaborating with other civil engineers and technical specialists to ensure the effective delivery of our data centre project portfolio.
- Mentoring junior engineers to enhance AECOM’s technical capabilities and maintain delivery excellence in the Data Centres sector.
