As part of a specialized team, you will help build ClickHouse's future — secure and scalable database platforms tailored for government and enterprise clients across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. We are seeking exceptional engineers to design, develop, deploy, and secure a ClickHouse Cloud database platform in various regulated and mission-critical environments.
This role presents a unique opportunity to architect solutions for high-performance, highly regulated systems, including those with restricted or no internet connectivity. You will collaborate closely with Security, Dataplane, ClickHouse Core, and Infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, Protected B, IRAP, and other security frameworks, while facilitating our elastic, limitless scale, high-performance, server-less ClickHouse Cloud capabilities across diverse deployment models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a highly available, scalable, and secure ClickHouse Cloud platform for regulated and mission-critical environments.
- Implement innovative deployment automation across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem systems, including in disconnected environments when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with existing Dataplane and Core teams to ensure software parity with existing cloud infrastructure.
- Address unique scaling, reliability, and performance challenges in regulated settings.
- Architect and deploy ClickHouse Cloud on Kubernetes and containerized environments to ensure high availability, replication, and backup.
- Create and maintain Helm charts, operators, and Kubernetes manifests for effective database management.
- Establish repeatable automation processes to build, scale, and troubleshoot infrastructure components across varied deployment scenarios.
