Join SGS as a Senior Commercial Engineer and be responsible for achieving sales targets set by your direct supervisor and aligning with the commercial strategy of the department.
Your primary focus will be identifying commercial opportunities in the market to promote our comprehensive portfolio of products, particularly concentrating on infrastructure for construction laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned target markets effectively as identified by the organization.
- Deliver tailored commercial proposals to clients via email or in-person and follow up diligently to secure sales.
- Innovate by discovering client needs creatively to establish new service opportunities.
- Maintain organized oversight of the sales process, ensuring all client information and opportunity statuses are accurately updated in the CRM.
- Achieve the required number of client visits and meet operational indicators in accordance with internal policies.
- Monitor commercial offers to enhance success rates in sales.
- Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients, ensuring continuous support for existing accounts.
- Draft commercial proposals following established procedures for various sector portfolios and tailored offerings for clients with unique needs.
- Communicate negotiation terms clearly to operational processes, ensuring excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Prepare accurate and timely periodic reports for your direct supervisor and the Product Manager.
- Address technical inquiries from clients, leveraging expert support when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with established norms, procedures, and action plans within the management system and product accreditations.
- Plan and participate in industry events or client gatherings authorized by the sector.
- Manage documentation and ensure due diligence and compliance for clients under your responsibility.
- Negotiate and manage long-term agreements with clients.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of management systems and/or accreditations when applicable.
- Ensure collection of commercial receivables.
- Conduct daily reports on the commercial process opening and closing.
