The Role
As a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing local compliance responsibilities while supporting global compliance initiatives. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring strict adherence to both Chilean and international regulations, fostering a robust governance framework, and upholding Pepperstone's commitment to ethical, transparent, and compliant operations.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Formulating and implementing the company’s compliance vision and strategy in alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
- Assisting the Group Compliance Department with LATAM-focused projects, monitoring, and advisory tasks.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with local and international legal requirements, including timely license applications and audit submissions.
- Developing and revising internal policies to align with the Chilean regulatory landscape.
- Preparing and presenting reports for the Board, senior leadership, and Group Compliance.
- Representing the company in interactions with the CMF and other external stakeholders.
- Collaborating with legal, risk, finance, operations, technology, and front-office teams to integrate compliance into strategic initiatives.
- Conducting customer KYC tasks, including OCDD and ECDD assessments.
- Managing investigations of unusual activities.
- Supporting global risk assessment procedures.
- Addressing inquiries from commercial stakeholders and resolving client compliance issues.
- Performing control testing in accordance with the Compliance Management Framework.
- Contributing to assessments of incidents, errors, and breaches while maintaining requisite registers.
