We are seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative for our Administrative Services Unit, which plays a crucial role in processing thousands of license applications for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH). This unit is responsible for a variety of administrative functions including personnel management, training, recruitment, budgeting, purchasing, contracts, technology, database system support, communications, and supply management.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing clerical tasks, including complex data processing, record maintenance, and providing information to licensing applicants;
- Ensuring record accuracy and adherence to policies;
- Preparing and monitoring reports under supervision;
- Delivering high-volume customer service to applicants both in-person and via phone;
- Onboarding and offboarding employees within the Licensing Division;
- Managing supplies for the division;
- Training other staff as needed;
- Participating in seminars, meetings, and training sessions;
- Following all division and agency policies and procedures;
- Executing additional related tasks as assigned.
