Join our vibrant Digital Trading team at Rituals, where we are committed to delivering an extraordinary online shopping experience on our website and app. We are in search of a Senior Digital Merchandiser who excels in combining strategic category management with practical digital merchandising to enhance commercial performance and enrich the customer journey. You will take full ownership of an entire category, swiftly translating insights into actions, employing merchandising tools, and applying Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) methodologies to continually enhance discoverability, relevance, and conversion rates—all while upholding Rituals’ premium standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Digital Merchandiser, you will spearhead and implement a comprehensive digital category strategy, establishing KPIs to measure success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving commercial performance by tracking and enhancing key KPIs.
- Formulating the merchandising strategy for your category utilizing critical levers such as sorting, ranking, search functionalities, recommendations, upselling & cross-selling techniques, and bundles.
- Analyzing and optimizing the end-to-end customer journey by refining navigation structures, enhancing onsite storytelling, boosting product discoverability, and ensuring seamless search/browse experiences.
- Enhancing the Product Detail Page (PDP) strategy for your category: prioritizing content, storytelling, ensuring completeness and consistency, and identifying and rectifying content gaps.
- Initiating and executing CRO improvements: identifying conversion blockers, defining hypotheses, prioritizing opportunities, and supporting A/B testing and iterative enhancements.
- Identifying and leveraging trends and industry best practices to optimize product and merchandising strategies.
- Ensuring website accuracy and operational excellence through regular checks, prompt in-season updates, and structured quality assurance—addressing issues proactively and finding pragmatic solutions.
- Leading and/or coordinating development initiatives by defining clear business cases and requirements while collaborating with the development team and stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with Digital & Content specialists, as well as stakeholders across Digital Marketing, Campaigns, Content Studio, Innovation, Supply, and Technology teams to ensure high-quality execution, alignment, and timely delivery.
