About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Director of Business Development (New Verticals) to spearhead our expansion into new markets. This role is perfect for a strategic sales professional with a knack for opening doors and closing significant platform deals. You will play a pivotal role in introducing Flex’s pay-over-time platform into new industries, establishing partnerships that will fuel our next phase of growth.
In this high-impact position, your success will be gauged by the deals you close and the markets you conquer. Reporting directly to the VP of Strategic Partnerships, you will manage the entire sales cycle—from generating leads and partner outreach to negotiations, launch, and revenue scaling. Your focus will be on major payment platforms and vertical SaaS providers across sectors including insurance, utilities, telecom, automotive, and healthcare, working closely with Go-To-Market (GTM) and Sales leadership to drive measurable adoption and sustained growth.
This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment in NYC or San Francisco, with relocation assistance available.
