Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a seasoned and results-oriented Senior Director of Sales Development to spearhead and expand our Sales Development team. In this pivotal role, you will define and implement the sales development strategy to foster pipeline growth, enhance lead quality, and support our revenue objectives. You will provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and SDR Managers, collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations to align strategies, optimize processes, and ensure effective daily execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development and Execution: Formulate and drive the sales development strategy in alignment with sales and marketing objectives, taking full ownership of pipeline expansion.
Team Leadership and Mentorship: Recruit, manage, coach, and cultivate a high-performing team of SDRs and Managers, focusing on performance management and career advancement.
Process and System Optimization: Introduce and refine tools, workflows, and sales cadences to enhance efficiency, quality, and conversion rates.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to ensure alignment in messaging, campaigns, targeting, and lead generation strategies.
Performance Measurement and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), derive insights, eliminate obstacles to pipeline growth, and communicate pipeline impact to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Experience: Over 8 years in sales development, including a minimum of 3-5 years in leadership roles managing SDR teams.
Proven Leadership: Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze metrics and derive actionable insights.
Strategic Thinker: Capable of developing and executing strategies that drive growth.
