Job Overview:
The Senior Director of Clinical Operations & Practice, reporting to the Chief Care Delivery Operations Officer, is a pivotal leadership role within our Care Teams. This strategic position involves overseeing all components of Omada’s clinical operations, including CDCES, exercise specialists, on-call program, and third-party prescribing operations. The focus will be on enhancing member outcomes, engagement, cost efficiency, and employee satisfaction. This leader will act as the principal operational ally to the Clinical organization, driving the strategic expansion of our clinical programming as outlined in our five-year vision. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, both within and external to direct reporting lines, to optimize clinical operations across various conditions. Utilizing technology and data insights will be essential for refining the delivery of clinical operations, along with spearheading continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Impact:
- Craft and execute long-term, comprehensive strategies for clinical operations (e.g., T1D, T2D, HTN, Hyperlipidemia, GLP1s, AOMs) that prioritize member experience, clinical quality, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.
- Build and maintain a strong clinical operations leadership team that effectively manages daily operations, ensures clinical safety and compliance, and collaborates seamlessly with cross-functional leaders, including Member Services, Health Coaching, MSK, and Operational Excellence.
- Serve as the key operational partner to the Clinical team for condition-specific program development, translating long-term clinical strategy into multi-year operational plans, and leading all execution efforts.
- Establish a robust partnership with Care Teams Operational Innovation (CTOI) to ensure operational preparedness for new product integrations, optimizations, AI implementations, and to ensure strong representation of clinical operations within CTOI.
- Drive operational excellence in clinical operations, focusing on continuous improvement strategies, review and enhancement of operating metrics, and standardization efforts where applicable.
To be successful, you will need:
- A minimum of 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare or clinical operations, with a significant focus on operational strategy and execution.
