We are seeking a Senior Director of Federal Sales to take charge of our U.S. Federal Government sales territory. You will be responsible for driving revenue across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Communities. In this leadership role, you will guide territory account executives in defining and implementing robust go-to-market strategies, multi-year account plans, and quarterly frameworks to surpass annual targets. Your focus on metrics, enterprise deal strategy, and measurable outcomes will foster predictable growth and market expansion, ensuring the achievement of Federal revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Articulate U.S. Public Sector strategy to account executives operating within the federal market.
- Develop both short-term objectives and long-term strategies to effectively meet quarterly and annual performance targets.
- Oversee territory account executives, addressing all sales strategy and goal-related matters.
- Engage in strategic planning sessions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Implement U.S. Public Sector processes, including forecast calls, pipeline generation, marketing initiatives, technology partnerships, and reseller relationships.
- Advocate for additional resources necessary for sales strategy execution, including advisory services and consultants.
- Mentor and coach Account Executives on the federal team, serving as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert.
- Communicate key issues and deal changes to leadership that may impact overall performance.
- Collaborate effectively with the North American Channel Program with a focus on the federal market.
