IntegriChain is seeking a Senior Director of Information Security to spearhead our information security initiatives across cloud infrastructure, applications, and enterprise systems. Position Overview
As the Senior Director of Information Security, you will lead a talented team of security professionals and collaborate closely with Technology Operations, DevOps, Engineering, and IT to integrate security into all phases of system design and operation. This position is perfect for an experienced security leader who wishes to remain involved in technology while guiding teams through intricate security challenges and enhancing the organization’s security posture.
Daily Responsibilities
Your day typically begins with a review of the security environment, assessing alerts, recent changes, and potential risks. You will engage with your security team and technology operations to align on priorities and ongoing investigations.
Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and application engineering teams to eliminate security-related obstacles, facilitating safe progress. This includes participating in design discussions, evaluating proposed changes, and weighing security trade-offs in real-world scenarios.
Hands-on involvement is key, whether you’re validating configurations, investigating issues, or implementing security enhancements. Simultaneously, you’ll provide leadership by mentoring team members, defining direction, and ensuring the team focuses on high-impact initiatives.
Given the distributed nature of our teams, you will manage collaboration through both synchronous and asynchronous communication. In the event of security incidents or urgent matters, you will lead the response efforts, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure that lessons learned translate into tangible improvements.
