About the job
Vera Therapeutics (Nasdaq: VERA) is a pioneering biotechnology firm at the forefront of developing innovative therapies for severe immunological conditions. Our mission is to enhance patient care by delivering treatments that directly address the underlying causes of these diseases. Our flagship product candidate, atacicept, is a self-administered, subcutaneous injection designed to block both B-cell Activating Factor (BAFF) and A Proliferation Inducing Ligand (APRIL). This groundbreaking treatment aims to reduce the production of autoantibodies associated with autoimmune disorders, such as IgA nephropathy. Furthermore, we are exploring the application of atacicept in other immunological disorders and advancing our development of VT-109, a cutting-edge dual BAFF/APRIL inhibitor, as well as MAU868, a monoclonal antibody targeting BK virus infections.
Our values serve as the foundation of our culture, driving us to recruit exceptional talent, work collaboratively towards our mission, and ultimately transform the standard of care for patients suffering from immunological diseases.
