The Role:
As the Senior Diversity and Inclusion Manager, you will spearhead and implement Kao's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Wellbeing strategy, ensuring it is aligned with both global and regional objectives. You will play a pivotal role in a matrix environment, guaranteeing that initiatives are effective, legally compliant, and culturally appropriate across various countries and functions.
In this hands-on position, you will provide strategic leadership and governance to cultivate an inclusive culture, serving as a vital link between regional and global efforts. You will drive the execution of cross-regional initiatives and promote harmonization.
Joining the EMEA HR Leadership Team, you will report directly to the VP HCD EMEA.
What you will do:
- Lead the development and execution of the DEI and Wellbeing strategy, ensuring alignment with Kao’s global vision, ESG framework, corporate philosophy, and business priorities.
- Translate the overall strategy into actionable regional plans that reflect local cultural, legislative, and operational contexts within a matrix organizational structure.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, advising colleagues and senior leaders on all aspects of DEI and employee wellbeing.
- Co-lead Kao’s Global Ambassadors Programme, shaping shared initiatives, defining common goals, and enhancing ambassador capabilities through targeted training.
- Monitor and provide guidance on DEI and Wellbeing-related legislation and regulatory developments across EMEA countries and business operations.
