The Senior Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering deep partnerships with Financial Services (FINS) clients by providing a clear roadmap to effectively leverage the Databricks platform, ensuring they extract maximum value from our offerings. This role is dedicated to surpassing customer satisfaction throughout the entire engagement lifecycle, from initial orchestration through to vision, delivery, and ongoing support.
As a Senior Engagement Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring our clients harness the full potential of our products and services. This involves preparing for and following up on professional services and training engagements, while collaborating strategically across various departments including Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Product Teams to drive impactful campaigns, programs, and content. You will report directly to the Director of Professional Services, closely coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver excellence at every stage.
Your Impact:
- Recognize and capitalize on opportunities for new services by identifying potential use-cases and articulating the business benefits of upselling or extending services.
- Act as the Senior Engagement Manager within your designated area, consistently meeting or exceeding Professional Services and Training bookings and revenue objectives.
- Consult with clients to gather engagement requirements, scope, timelines, costs, and anticipated benefits, while developing comprehensive statements of work.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams early in the sales process to understand client needs and business goals, ensuring delivery exceeds expectations and provides valuable, tailored solutions.
- Exemplify a commitment to excellence by prioritizing Databricks and client needs to achieve sales and delivery objectives.
- Proactively address delivery challenges, resolve resource conflicts, and manage stakeholder expectations.
