As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will serve as a pivotal technical leader and an exceptional manager who is committed to the growth and success of your team. Your Responsibilities
- As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you may participate in coding tasks, while also reviewing code to ensure sound design decisions are made by our engineers.
- Lead and assess technical designs, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and in line with our long-term platform objectives.
- Familiarity with our technology stack is not a prerequisite. We utilize: ReactJS, Javascript, Typescript, Clojure, AWS, Postgres, Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Git.
- Steer an ever-evolving agile engineering process. You should possess a strong sense of accountability for your deliverables and milestones.
- Support product feature teams in expediting feature development by enhancing the architecture of OneStudyTeam and minimizing technical debt.
- Guarantee that the team consistently delivers on time through effective planning, prioritization, and communication with stakeholders.
- Mentor, manage, and cultivate a team of software engineers, promoting a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Recruit and onboard engineers who align with our organizational values.
- Oversee an engineering team of up to 5 engineers.
