THE ROLE
We are seeking a standout Senior Finance Manager to collaborate with our Americas Sales team. This pivotal role is centered on delivering insightful analysis and strategic business partnership to sales leadership. Your responsibilities will range from providing commercial deal support in conjunction with our deal desk to partnering with our Prague-based Shared Services team on analytics and reporting. You will also analyze key performance indicators such as pipeline and Expense to Bookings in collaboration with leadership. This position offers a direct opportunity to deliver essential financial insights and propel business success.
The Americas Theater business is the powerhouse of Pure Storage, encompassing operations in the United States and Canada. This sector is divided into distinct sub-theaters—Public Sector, Strategics, and Americas Core—each possessing unique capabilities and cultural diversity, all unified by a strong demand for analytical insights where you will play a crucial role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Strategic Business Partnering: Act as the primary finance business partner for the Americas Sales leaders, supplying actionable financial insights and aiding strategic decision-making.
- Deal Structuring & Commercial Support: Lead and influence the structuring of commercial deals by collaborating with the deal desk and sales teams on intricate deal analyses.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Manage the financial reporting processes on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, presenting insightful metrics on business trends, pipeline, deals, and markets to support our go-to-market strategy.
- Forecasting & Planning: Spearhead financial planning, forecasting, and expense management initiatives, including Expense-to-Bookings (E:B) reporting, to pinpoint risks and opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Champion continuous process improvement and automation, employing best practices to scale our operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, Revenue Accounting, and HR to achieve results and align resources.
