Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A
Shoreham-by-Sea - Hybrid (2–3 days in office)

Focus Group is a dynamic technology services company with £300 million in revenue and a workforce of 1,300, backed by Hg Capital. As we approach a projected $1 billion valuation in 2024, we are rapidly expanding. Our FP&A team is essential to guiding our strategic decisions, presenting a unique opportunity to join this pivotal function.
In this role, you will report directly to the Group's Director of FP&A and be a vital contributor, collaborating with our Executive Leadership Team and Private Equity stakeholders to provide the financial insights that enhance our performance.
Your Responsibilities
From day one, you will take full ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes. You will develop scenario models to enhance our strategic planning and monitor key performance indicators across the organization. Additionally, you will significantly contribute to our M&A strategy by evaluating and tracking the performance of acquired entities against their investment objectives.
This is not a typical back-office position; you will be addressing inquiries from investors, influencing senior executives, and driving the continuous improvement of our analytical tools and processes.
What We Seek
The ideal candidate will be partially qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with substantial experience in financial analysis, modeling, or related fields. A background in transaction services, strategy consulting, or M&A is preferred. You should possess strong skills in P&L analysis, cash flow management, and working capital, along with proficiency in complex Excel models.
Beyond technical capabilities, we value curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline is desirable, and experience with Power BI or similar tools would be advantageous.
